Eddie Howe is also waiting to hear on the conditions of Artur Boruc, Lee Tomlin, Christian Atsu and Marc Pugh who he hopes will be fit on time. Everton on the other hand will be hoping that Leighton Baines and Tyias Browning will be able to make a comeback although Saturday might be too soon for them.

Xherdan Shaqiri has been struggling with a hamstring injury but he should be able to play at the Stadium of Light, while Ibrahim Afellay and Diouf should push for a starting berth after being left on the bench during the win over Southampton.
