TEAM NEWS

Juardo, Joel Ekstrand and Sebastian Prodl are the only injury concerns for the home side. Defender Allan Nyom could possibly also be forced to sit this one out after failing to play for Cameroon during the recent international break despite being called up for action. His country could invoke a rule preventing him from turning out on Saturday. Manchester United’s Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia are still unavailable for selection after undergoing surgery, and there are concerns that Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini, James Wilson and Anthony Martial may miss this clash after picking up injuries during the international break.

UPDATE:Wayne Rooney is ill and will also miss the trip to Watford.

WEST BROMWICH ALBION VS ARSENAL

KEY STATS

  • West Brom have registered just two wins in their 18 PL meetings with Arsenal (D3 L13), and are without a win against the Gunners in the last nine top-flight clashes.
  • The Gunners have scored in every one of those 18 PL games against West Brom, the longest 100% scoring recorded of any side against a single opponent in PL history
  • Including blocked, West Brom have fired in the fewest shots this season (113) while Arsenal have mustered the joint-most (221, level with Man City)

The Baggies are still without their first choice keeper Ben Foster, while Gareth McAuley will be serving a one-match ban for the red card received in the 2-0 defeat to Man United on 7/11 which saw him dismissed for two yellow cards. He will miss the Premier League encounter with Arsenal on 21/11 to return to contention on 29/11 against West Ham. Serge Gnarby wont feature as he cannot play against parent club Arsenal due to conditions of loan deal.  Arsenal on the other hand are without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey, Tomas Rosicky, Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere. Center half Laurent Koscielny is also a doubt after Arsene Wenger revealed that the defender has been particularly affected by recent off-field events in Paris and therefore is not in a good state of mind.

Newcastle are facing an injury crisis, with Rolando Aarons, Jack Colback, Emmanuel Riviere, Curtis Good, Tim Krul, Gabriel Obertan and Steven Taylor all out of contention for this fixture. Karl Darlow, Robert Elliot and Massaido Haidara are also doubts but could make a return to the bench. Matthew James is the Foxes only long term injury concern. The focus, however, will be on striker Jamie Vardy who was sidelined from action during the international break due with an injury.
